What's On at Bellevue School!
  Term 1 2017
Donors Choice - a NZ Charitable Trust - has donated funds for licences for an online Literacy programme to support learning. The presentation was made by Simon Bridges MP to Bellevue students.
Fun learning and activities at
Senior Camp for Rooms 1,2,3,16 and 17.
Term 3 will end on 23 September.
Teacher only day Friday 19 August.

Term 3 brings Senior camp, Olympics, Art Exhibition, Eco estuary trip for Middle School, Einstein quiz, 7s tournament and lots more.

Kia ora to all of our new students.
Bellevue Learners will welcome you to our school.
 Students share experiences and learning at
our school assemblies.
  The 2016 Triathlon / Duathlon was held - swimming, running, biking. It was great to see so many parents and whanau supporting our resilient students. It was a fun event!
                                    Remember all students must wear hats for protection in Term 1. Make sure it is a wide brimmed hat. 
  Thanks to Mrs Peters, Mrs St Clair and their sewers for our new uniforms.
Our Senior Kapahaka group performed at the Ra Whakangahau festival. Those attending were proud of their efforts. They represented Bellevue School well. The students had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. Tino pai!
  Congratulations to our Maths team for representing Bellevue School in the local competition.
 Our School councillors attended Orange Day presenting Road Safety messages to the community.

  Bellevue School were well represented at the East Cluster Athletics.

Congratulations to those who attended. 
Year 3 and 4 students attended the Funky Fun Day again this year. Lots of fun. Lots of resilience. Lots of responsibility. Lots of respect. Well done to all.
Many thanks to Taylor Brothers for sponsoring the entire school on a visit to the Luminarium  - the light display in the Arborium - part of the Tauranga Arts Festival. All who attended were enthusiastic about their experiences.  

The Life Education classroom will be
Bellevue School again.

Lots of learning to keep healthy and safe!

Bellevue School is lucky to be able to visit the Otumoetai College Marae to learn more of the Tikanga Maori of the Maori culture.        

We will attend enjoy this cultural experience again in 2016. 

 The Senior classes made a trip to Hamilton as part of their EOTC  - Education Outside the Classroom. The visit to the zoo was a highlight.
The visit to Hobbiton was part of the Senior Inquiry into the literature of the Hobbit.
